SWEEEEEEET!

Stronach Stable's continues to roll in 2007 not only with runners but homebreds. Yesterday, CANDY BOX, a Canadian-bred 5-year-old mare by Running Stag - Miner's Mirage out of Mining, rocked the field in the Stormy Krissy Stakes ($66,750) at Aqueduct, winning by more than 6 lengths as the 7 to 2 second favourite. Trained by Bruve Levine, Candy Box was making her 2nd start of the year. She began her racing life at Keeneland in 2005, winning her debut. She is now 4 for 12 in her career, earnings of over $170,000 and is one of 6 foals ot race for Colin S. winner Miners Mirage.
Her time of 1:11 2/5 translated into a career-best 95 Beyer Figure.
