91 entered, prep for 'Cartier offers $79,900

Ninety one horses were entered in 10 races for opening day of the 51st Woodbine meeting on Saturday March 31. It is the first opening day of Woodbine in the spring since Polytrack was installed last summer.
New/visiting trainers with starters on the card include Debra Divitto, Ron G Potts Jr and Chris Englehart.
The Jacques Cartier prep is race 6 and SUPER FUSE (Lite the Fuse) returns to Woodbine from New York where the 7-year-old was 3rd to Bishop Court Hill in the Paumonok at Aqueduct on Jan. 27.
Super Fuse is making his 5th career start but he has not won a race since March 28, 2004 at Aqueduct - more than 3 years ago.
The gelding was at Woodbine for the Jacques Cartier last year and was a goof third to champion Judith's Wild Rush.
Double stakes winner from last spring, ATLAS SHRUGS, is in the field as are other added-money winners Quick in Deed, Are You Serious, Archers Alyancer and Vibank.
