DANCE SMARTLY JACKET

Buy it and give LONGRUN a Christmas present

Thanks to BRUCE WALKER, formerly of Woodbine Entertainment, THOROUGHBLOG is able to auction off this gorgeous DANCE SMARTLY jacket, made for a selected few people in 1991 after the Canadian-bred filly won the Breeders' Cup Distaff and the Canadian Triple Crown.
The jacket, size large/extra large, is nylon and has NEVER BEEN WORN.

All monies will be donated to LONGRUN THOROUGHBRED RETIREMENT FOUNDATION.

THOROUGHBLOG will take bids, in $5 increments, starting at $50.00 beginning today through Saturday at Noon.

Bids should be submitted by email so that there is a time stamp and I will update the bid process as the bids come in (or soon after).
If you send a bid using the COMMENT SECTION, that is okay too, I will update the same as those will also be time-stamped.

So buy this jacket and help the racehorses of Ontario!

A letter came across yesterday from the owner of MEADOW PRINCESS (one of a few breakdowns at Woodbine last week) and said the filly has been retired with a serious knee injury and all will be done to save her as a broodmare of riding horse.
    Good luck to Meadow.

Many, many thanks to Bruce Walker and to you for thinking of LongRun - Dance Samrtly was a particular favourite of mine and the jacket is beautiful This is timely as there are so many horses to help this time of year.

FYI, we will be auctioning off a LongRun saddle pad autographed by Olympic Gold Medallist Eric Lamaze on E.bay, starting December 1.

And kudos to the owner of Meadow Princess...we wish her a safe and speedy recovery and a happy life after racing.
